Our Story

One stove,
a short list, no rush.

It started the way these things usually do, with someone in the next room calling out for more chilli, please. We listened.

No restaurant, no fleet of vans, one kitchen, one stove, and a lot of attention. We cook only when you ask: never ahead, never at scale, never on a shortcut.

Good food takes the time it takes. This is not fast food, it's forever food, set down at a particular crossing of roads: South Indian coast, North Indian tandoor, an Auckland pantry.
